Chartered Financial Planner® Designation Practice Standards and Code of Conduct

Holders of the Chartered Financial Planner® designation shall maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in dealing with clients and the public. A Chartered Financial Planner credential holder has obligations to the profession of financial planning as enshrined within the principles in the Code of Conduct and Practice Standards.

As a condition of certification, a Chartered Financial Planner professional must agree to abide by the terms prescribed within the Code of Conduct, Practice Standards and License Agreement.
